Initial Location Scouting

In this video, me and my peer Joshua headed out to Central London in search of some locations that we could use as settings for our movie trailer project. As our story will be set in the densely populated urban city areas of Central London as we want to take advantage of the city and make the story seem as realistic as possible to link to the social-realistic elements that we have to have in our trailer. Overall we visited key areas in Central London such as:

Trafalgar Square

Picadilly

Oxford Street

Carnaby Street Covent Garden

Embankment

Soho

Although some of these areas may be packed during peak times, it may be advisable to film during off-peak times such as during the weekdays, where there would be less people who may potentially interfere with the filming. These areas are also really popular, so if we were to use something like a prop-gun, we may require special permission. To conclude, this is just the first scouting trip that we have done and I plan to do more in the weeks running up to filming.
